Autumn Conference PTBI 2021

We announce that the Autumn Conference PTBI 2021 will be held on September 15-17.

Due to sanitary restrictions, the conference is planned in the online formula.

We are pleased to introduce our confirmed keynote speakers:

Prof. Joanna Polańska (Professor at the Silesian University of Technology, Head of the Department of Engineering and Data Mining Analysis, member of AcademiaNet and the Polish Academy of Sciences).

Dr Noam Kaplan (Assistant Professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Head of the Genome Structure and Function Lab).

Dr Hugues Richard (Robert Koch Institute (Researcher) / Sorbonne University (Ass. Prof., on leave).

The PTBi Symposium is a well-established series of scientific meetings organized by the Polish Bioinformatics Society. It features high quality inspiring keynote talks, forms an ideal forum for discussing results for mid-, and early-stage researchers, and is a great opportunity for meeting new people working in various areas of computational biology.

During the conference, participants will be able to present a submitted topic either as an oral presentation (15 min) or as a poster via videoconference. Posters will be available for preview and download a few days before the conference begins. All posters will be presented during the poster session as 2-3 minutes flash-talks followed by casual meeting with poster authors in seperate, virtual rooms.

PTBi members can enjoy a discount on the registration fee. If you want to become a member, please fill in the form

We are happy to inform you that during the conference there will be organized a competition (with prizes funded by PTBI management) for the best poster and presentation.
