BioInformatics in Toruń - BIT26 🏰
Two inspiring days full of science, discussions and new perspectives are behind us. BioInformatics in Toruń 2026 brought together researchers working at the intersection of bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, structural biology and genomics. The program covered a wide range of topics from AI-driven drug discovery and protein, RNA structure prediction, through machine learning applications in biological data analysis, to genomics and personalized medicine. It was great to see how different approaches and disciplines come together to better understand complex biological systems. Besides excellent talks, posters and workshops, the conference was also an opportunity to meet new people, discuss ideas and build connections.
We would like to thank the organizing committee for more than half a year of hard work and dedication in preparing this conference:
▪ dr Katarzyna Walczewska-Szewc (Chair, Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland)
▪ prof. dr hab. Wiesław Nowak (Co-Chair Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland)
▪ dr hab. Łukasz Pepłowski, prof. NCU (Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland)
▪ dr hab. inż. Jakub Rydzewski, prof. NCU (Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland)
▪ dr Tomasz Kościółek (Sano Centre for Computational Medicine, Krakow, Poland)
This conference could not have been such a success without our amazing participants and speakers. Thank you all for your valuable contributions and for being a part of this edition of the Bioinformatics in Toruń Conference! We hope to see you again at the next edition - or during the Symposium of the Polish Bioinformatics Society in Poznań!
