Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and the Polish Bioinformatics Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Bioinformatyczne / PTBI) welcome you to the 18th annual conference “BioInformatics in Torun – BIT18”. As every year, 2018 conference will be held in Torun - the charming medieval hanseatic town in Poland.

This year BIT18 will be devoted mainly, but not exclusively, to ALGORITHMS, GENES and PRECISON MEDICINE. The conference will start after lunch on June 28 (Thursday) and will end around lunch time on June 30 (Saturday).

Saturday is planned to be devoted mostly to hands-on workshops in bioinformatics.

It is possibility to get a special discount (350 PLN) in a fee for a PhD students presenting poster. Discount is available only during early registration. Number of discounts is limited. More information during registration.

PTBI

PTBI (Polskie Towarzystwo Bioinformatyczne, or PBS: Polish Bioinformatics Society) is a non-profit organization of bioinformaticians and computational biologists with links to Poland. Most of the PTBI members are located in Poland, but we also have foreign members and Polish scientists working temporarily or permanently abroad. PTBI is involved in various activities, including organization of conferences, workshops, and annual contests for the best MSc and PhD theses in bioinformatics.
